    2. You will find that we have two activities calendars for our community. We have one calendar for our memory care residents and another separate calendar for our assisted living residents. Make note that the calendar for our memory care residents says "Legacies, Pacifica Memory Care" located on the top left of the calendar. Please enjoy a copy for yourself! Volunteer opportunities are always available. February 06: Assistance League of Greater Wilmington Ukulele Performance

    2. We will have a wonderful group of singers and ukulele performers from the Assistance League of Greater Wilmington at Pacifica Senior Living on Monday, February 6th at 2:00pm. We would love to have you join us for an amazing performance!

February 09: Young at Heart Social

    2. A group of "young at heart" residents will be attending the annual Young at Heart Social at UNCW on February 9th. We will be leaving Pacifica at 5:30pm and will return by 9:00pm. The residents will have the opportunity to eat, dance and be merry! If your loved one would like to attend, please contact Lindsay Strickland, Activities Director, for more information. 

February 13: Pine Valley Baptist Church Preschoolers Visit

    2. A group of 4 year olds from Pine Valley Baptist Church Preschool will be visiting our residents on Monday, February 13th at 10am. They will be singing for our residents and will even be handing out hand-made Valentine's cards just in time for Valentine's Day!

    2. During our special Valentine's luncheon, our residents will be serenaded by the wonderful voice of Dominick Alfano. During this time we will be announcing our 2012 Valentine's King & Queen. Then at 2:00pm join us in our community room for a special meet and greet social with our newly crowned King & Queen. And to top off our wonderful Valentine's Day, certified therapy dog, Buddy Love, will be visiting us for a special Valentine's visit. Please let us know if you will be joining us for our Valentine's luncheon.     2. Retired Navy weatherman and former science teacher, Gene Boland, will be here on Monday, January 20th at 2pm for his monthly Gee Whiz Science lecture and discussion. His session always proves to be an interesting one!
